The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Command Team (PCT), led by Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini, held a crucial meeting yesterday in Durban, focused on strengthening the PCT, reinforcing leadership structures, and intensifying election readiness.
The meeting saw the establishment of a dedicated Elections Committee, the appointment of a new Deputy Secretary, and the deployment of reinforcements to the existing PCT leadership across various municipalities. This strategic restructuring is aimed at ensuring that the EFF in KwaZulu-Natal remains a formidable force going forward, with a clear focus on grassroots mobilisation, ward-level coordination, and securing victory in critical regions.
The PCT formally appointed Fighter Khethiwe Buthelezi as the new Deputy Secretary, reinforcing the leadership core of the provincial structure. The Elections Committee was established to drive campaign strategy, voter engagement, and logistical preparations for the upcoming elections. This committee will be led by Fighter Khombezakhe Madlala, Fighter Lwazi Nkosi, and Fighter Asanda (Mzu) Nyembezi. Additionally, to enhance media and communications strategies within the province, Fighter Chrsitopher Msibi was appointed as Communications Officer.
To enhance organisational efficiency and intensify political activity at the ward level, the meeting confirmed the deployment of coordinators across strategic municipalities. These leaders, listed below, will be responsible for mobilisation, community engagement, and strengthening the EFF’s presence across the province.
